Another person who has played Earthbound o.o will wonders never cease. I'm CG's boyfriend Zergy and a huge RPG fanatic in all forms. Chrono Trigger is definatly my favorite RPG, followed closly by Final Fantasy 4 and six. Good rpg's of all ages are; any of the Ogrebattle series (SNES, PS1, N64), Kartia (PS1), Legend of Dragoon (PS1), Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain (PS1), Soulblazer (SNES), Sailor Moon: Another Dream (SNES), and Lufia 1 & 2. All are quality (though some better then others) and all worth playing. If you need any other recommendations just ask, I am the living database of RPG knowledge ^_^

Hiya Zergy, nice to know ya! I haven't played a lot of those (and I called myself an RPG fan!). Oooh oooh Phantasy Star IV on Sega... and... anyone remember Popful Mail for Sega CD? Recommend away, I should start me a list of games I need to track down!

I don't think I ever made it past the first disk. I can't remember why, but I did the first couple of parts over and over and over again and that's pretty much what ruined the game for me.

Well, I always took the side-story about Shin-Ra and sucking the life energy out of the world as basically another way of talking about how the mega corporations of the world are using up all of the world's natural resources. It's really creepy when they start talking about the planet dying and such.

...And you should still try to play the game. It's really very good.

Ohhh, okay. I bet it's creepy.

a year or two ago, a friend of a friend traded comics with me. I lent him my two Fillerbunny issues and he lent one of his comics to me. I can't remember the name of the comic and it's driving me nuts. now, I know this is like the needle in the haystack thing but... it's worth a shot. it had an odd name and the main character was an assassin (I think) and had a werewolf arm (heh). I also remember yellow a lot. Like I said, I know it's a long shot, especially since I don't remember much about it, but I figured it was at least worth a try!

I watch Cartoon Network from 11pm to 3am every night... cause I don't want to miss one episode of Inuyasha (even the reruns) ... Cowboy Bebop, ... the whole thing really.

Welcome to the thread. Hope you have fun here. As you can see, it's been quiet for a while. Two of our regulars just haven't been around. I assume it's because their personal lives have been too busy. (And yay Lord of the Rings! )

Just reading back through some of this thread. Seems there are a lot of gamers....which really isn't my thing. My claim to "geekiness" comes from being an electronics engineer...the misses started calling me a geek some years ago and it just kinda stuck. LOL

But I DID see some binary references! heheheh I was LMAO @ "strip go-fish in binary"! It can't POSSIBLY get any more geeky than that!
