I never was a huge fan of the Dragon Warrior series, but I still have my orignal NES DW1 cartridge here.

I do, however, remember spending hours and hours playing Ultima: Quest of the Avatar for NES. I have no idea why but I was just obsessed with that game. I could never get all of my anks (sp?) lit up so I could never beat the game, but I can remember I was so powerful I could take out the king with no problems. I miss that game.

Ah tapout, you question the powers of ebay? Find your old favorite games and relive your childhood ^_^ it's amazing how good playing old games can feel...

I don't know the game, but the name reminds me of something one would find on Lit. It sounds like everyone's quest when they first register...the quest for the avatar. Sounds like an interesting game. But seriously...what was it about?

You know something, now that you mention it, that does sound like a Lit style game. I can't help but think it would be a really short game, due to you only needing 100 posts for said avatar. But oh what a game. You start out as a helpless virgin, and you get rep points for each post, and at the end your final post would be to see which Lit superstar's pants you could get into. Hey what about New Game+, where you start off by being nominated to the board. Okay I just put entirely too much though into that

I honestly have no idea what that game was about. Dammed if I can remember the story line, goal of the game (other than "to save the world"), I just remeber wandering around the world looking on the map for spell components, and fighting pirates for a ship (and no I'm not confusing that with FF1, in U:QFA yoiu have to wait for a ship to come to the shore so you can storm it and take it over).

I think I'll have to look for it in emulation form *L*
