Not a dirty post in the least. And this may not be true place but I want to talk about nerddom anime sci fi or what ever your dorky mind can think of.

I have been reading Scott Pilgrim and Ultimate Spiderman comics all day instead of revising and I am thoroughly enjoying myself :D I don't know much about anime but I love comics and sci-fi novels

I happily embrace my nerd-dom. I'm holding out for the rise of the uber-nerds, where I may claim my throne as lord of...something...I dunno, I haven't really thought it through yet.

Long time gamer and anime fan, avid listener to videogame music too.

Hunny, I'm home!

Yay, another geekly thread! Wooohooo If it helps, i was watching a ghost hunters marathon at home...yay dvd's!

I am at work, and all I can think about is, "I really want to go home and play Assassin's Creed 2"...

I haven't played that yet. Is it epic?

I'm still stuck on fable 3

You know, I've always been a "traditional fantasy RPG" kinda guy, more into things like Neverwinter Night and Baldur's Gate than first-person stuff, but I confess: I am totally addicted to this game. It's really, really engaging. I HIGHLY recommend it!

Now I need to go out and get it.
I love any excuse to get a new game :D

Dammit, me too now...and I still have a backlog of games waiting on me...:/

Seriously, it's a very cool game. I've probably put a good twenty hours into it and I'm still in the storyline. It's not completely linear, either, which is nice.

I got it at GameStop new for $20 last week. You could probably find it for cheaper!

seriously I know right... not fair.

I love gamestop. I sold a buncha games I didn't want, and got double the points...so I got a few games for free!

I sold a bunch of stuff at gamestop a couple months ago, they were giving double on all systems and I had a bunch of old ones - plus I got my PS3 bundled with the God of War games (3 really fun games IMHO)

is God of War only for ps3?

I love it when gamestop does the stuff for game systems. That's how I got my xbox last year + a 20 gb Harddrive

Looks like it, I just checked gamefaqs - and the 1 and 2 I got were for PS3, but the originals were for PS2

While I hate computer games, I wonder if my love for history, physics and books classifies me as a nerd...

f-my life. Thank goodness a ps3 was next on my list :D

You can come over and use mine :) Work seems to keep me at my computer and it's been neglected horribly lately :(

And gamestop wasn't the only one doing the combo's; it was around new years so everyone was, but the others were doing stuff I didn't want or stuff that I wanted and stuff I didn't (like one good game and one bad one or a blu ray movie) so I went with the best combo pack :)

Fantastic! I've found my new home in this thread then :p

seriously. I love all threads relating to some form of nerdy-ness :)

I love history and books too. Never rocked physics though... I loved chemistry though

sno .. I'm really really digging your current playlist of music by the way. lol
