Bought me a new pair of boots. Timberlands. I bought them for hiking, though one of my sergeants, looking at them, suggested they might be work boots instead. Guess I'll find out when I go hiking tomorrow.

Yes, I'm wearing basically brand new boots on a hiking trip with Koreans. This is probably going to hurt.

Made a crock pot of chili today. It came out pretty alright, aside from being simultaneously spicy and kinda flat tasting. I am thinking the seasoning packet I used was portioned for one pound of meat, and I was using closer to two pounds.

Worcestshire sauce and a little beef base will fix that quick.

I have never used packaging unless I'm making hamburger helper, and even then I sometimes add seasoning myself. Every other time, I season everything to my own taste.

Happy belated thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates it.. I hope it was full of turkey,stuffing, and all that other stuff.

Did anyone go to the black friday chaos? I have been up since 3am friday morning.. I would have gone to bed earlier but it was between getting laid and sleep.. sex will almost always win.

Well, I got a bathroom scale for 50% off at the BX. A bathroom scale seemed like the right thing to buy after a feasting holiday. XD

But yeah, not so much Black Friday stuff here at my base, but it's a pretty small laid back base. I volunteered at the post office in the morning, and ended up dealing with 300+ packages that got sent to our squadron (lucky we were volunteering that day!), so we just got a couple trucks and made three trips back and forth to move them all. My back still hurts.

Also, we had a squadron chili cookoff that evening. My chili didn't get first, which means it must have gotten a very close second. In any case, it was all gone within 20 minutes, while everybody else's chili seemed to have plenty left.

Still working my way through Fallout: New Vegas. Having fun with this game.

Oh, and my tool of a room mate seriously tried to coin check me tonight. I guess he figured that just because I was in a t-shirt and a pair of comfy shorts that he'd catch me without a coin outside of my room.
