I'd have to pull my sheet out to make sure, but as a joke from the first campaign i ever played i chose kobolds...

which we encountered a crap ton of in our first campaign but likely wouldn't have much after that

the reason i did is because i played a pet kobold in my first game
 
Nice! In our quest, we ran up against a room of 30 Kobolds. Our DM was miffed when we simply cast Entangle to keep them under control and peppered them with arrows. :)

That spell is highly underrated. I've used it even in much higher level campaigns to similar results.

That would have been great except that our band of misfits was more likely to crit miss than crit hit and end up wounding themselves or one of the other party members. I believe it was our drunken half senile elderly wizard who saved all of our hides for the most part until he was 1HKO'd by the final monster.

Here the Cava sparkling wine is flowing, the mead is good, and now that ALL of the kiddies are t'bed the dancing has begun! The guys are in heaven!

Happy New Years all! Dunno if I mentioned it, but Avatar is good, and I got a Sony Reader for Christmas.
 
In the new year I have started a new D&D campaign (3.5 edition). So far 2010 has been a complete blast.
 
Join the Disney Boycott! I tried to get my boys their Marvel Ultimate Alliance playable character downloads and they were gone. Why? Because Disney bought the rights and X-Box had to pull them down. FUCK Disney in their corporate asses! Rape the freaking princesses, step on the fairies, and pull the ears off the fucking mouse.
