Twilight is a block buster ?

You all must be kidding yourselves...

I mean, as much as I detest the tale, it's a simple formula.

Vampire + vague easily relate-able teenage girl + chemistry-less love theme + sprinkling of fighting + heavy handed, badly written drama.

Add it all up, and you have money. Heaping, smelly, piles of money.
It even specifically targets an entire demographic with nothing but disposable income! If I see one more fething link/picture/teeshirt from a teenage girl that references finding 'my edward', I will end this pathetic race. I'm thinking something prolonged and cold... Maybe a new ice age... Who knows?

My wife says that I act almost exactly like Edward from the Twilight series. After reading the first book, I must concur. I am a very sarcastic, over-protective jackass. But I refuse to read further. Much too.....well I can't say drawling since I loved The Road though it was a struggle to get through and actually required concentration on my part......whats the word....repetitive? I swear the same scene kept happening in the book for the first 300 pages.
