And that in itself says volumes. I'm in Southern California and I wonder why I allow so little of "normal TV" to be viewed in the childrens prescence.

It's so sad that our society has become so violence based. Is it any wonder children commit what would have been called war crimes in generations past? And they do this in their own schools to children they grew up with.

Yeah true so true, but we only have ourselves to blame, I mean now... and I have been guilty of this, everyone has the I care about me and only me attitude and fuck everyone else.

It's not just Tv, it's everything, the places you work, the schools, the teachers, even families all they want is money money it's what makes the world go round sadly.

Personally i'm against a lot of violence being aired, I think a lot fo things really do go too far nowadays. I could barely watch afro samurai, because of that. it seems that even Watchmen suffered from pointless fight scenes, and gore being added in; instead of meaningful dialogue, or useful details, like Rorshach's essays, and Hooded Justice's closet homosexuality. One of the best things was Wrestling admitting it was fake and that people are highly trained stunt men for story and entertainment. T.V. makes no distinction.

But Synder did take it too far at points, but think about the novel itself, it had plenty of blood and stuff like that in it, it was not really for kids to be view or looking at. I mean parents these days are so out of touch when it comes to these movies and stuff. The movie was rated R parents should do more research on films before deciding to take their kids to see the movie only to find out it's not a kid friendly movie. But Hollywood is also to blame they did advertise this as a kid friendly film.

Yes, I agree that parents should realize what their children are watching/ wish to watch- but at the same time too, we shouldn't be so quick to blame others while we ourselves are just equally at fault. Think about it. I'm sure each and every one of us on this very thread has at least said the word "Fuck" around a child nearby without even realizing it, or we have children over & they see a random porn shuffled in with our DVD collections..

What I'm trying to say is that we are ALL to blame: The parents, us, the company's, the distributors- everyone. So maybe it's everyone who needs to pick up their share of the slack and make things right for the futture generations to come.
