I'm born on international talk like a pirate day.

My roomie wants to dress up like pirates and armed with piraty drinks walk down the only party street in my burg.

Not so sure. Near a bunch of drunken asshole frat guys where I live. Good way to get insulted or have someone start a fight is look different and not be a big crowd. I don't really want to have to beat the hell out of someone on my birthday. Brings a damper on the festivities. And I'd like even less to have the hell beat out of me.

I think I'm just gonna make the pirate drinks and sit in my house with freinds. Drink the drinks and play some serious videgames.

That's MY plan anyway. I may even record the trashtalk.

It's the bow, isn't it?

Ultimate Thor is the hottest guy superhero (though as a mostly straight guy, my opinion doesn't count as much there).

Emma Frost is clearly the hottest girl.

In thinking about it, the bow might have something to do with it. Green Arrow has the whole Robin Hood thing going on. Intentially of course. I am a sad sad woman, I fixate on movie and comic book characters.

I am 5'9", 185 lbs, brown hair, currently have a goatee but am not wedded to it. With enough time in advance I could customize the facial hair for the costume. I am not fat by any stretch, but am a little conscious of my belly if truth be told, so spandex is not a good idea. I am pretty outgoing, athletic, and relaxed.

I am jealous, you can get away with just about anything costumewise. Right height/build ratio for it.

Pirates will be big this year, tons of ways to buy/make that.
Robin Hood is a eternal classic and I am biased. LOL
Goatee (With moustache is a Van Dyck but most folks just call them all goatees) makes for a great Devil look.
For a twist make a Vincent Price costume! Guarenteed to be a stand out in the crowd.
Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland..not necessarily a perfect fit but always fun
If you care to conceal your face masked costumes are big this year.
Look for lots of V's from V for Vendetta, much romance with that one too.
Werewolves always are a hit

Beaker from the Muppet Show is another thought. I'd love to be a Star Wars character (seems somewhat more acceptable than Star Trek), the question is who. Solo is the obvious one, but almost too generic.

....Solo is never generic! Vader, Troopers..those are generic. But aside from the black pants and vest look few people would recognize who it was.

Ghostbusters was fn to do one year. always a hoot, but less with the sexy.
