I'm equally proficient in knowledge of fantasy baseball and Star Wars. Plus, I never thought I'd be an NCAA hoops nut, but it happened pretty quickly after going to a few games in person. What can I say, I'm a renniasance man.

ohh I'm definately a sports nut.. I LOVE march madness and watching my favorite college team(KU jayhawks.. yes I know they choke way to often but who else am I going to go for.. K-state?) I also LOVE intelligent guys... quickest way into my bed is to be smart, act smart, and not be afraid of people knowing you are smart!
I will say there is something for "smart jocks".. I know most people on this thread would laugh at that but I have a couple guy friends who play college football, who are double majors in chemistry and biology( yes if I had the chance, I would jump on them quicker than you can say jump). They are good-looking, have very nice bodies and are some of the smartest people I know... WHY CAN"T I HAVE ONE!
On that note.. I am not a video-gamer.. I still play my original nintendo and that isn't very much.. I dont' see the point to stay inside all day and just play games. I didn't mind it very much when my ex played WOW.. but when he played for hours on end one day.. that was enough for me..

Hi all, thought I'd pop back on to say 'hi'. I've been monitoring this thread a bit but felt a bit shy to chime in most of the time.

Micro, in many ways you are describing me. Love photography (recently bought a dslr which I love), sex (which I've been in a 2 year dry spell ), don't cook, read fantasy/thrillers/mysteries, and love sports (how many 5'9" Asian American's have you ever seen dunk a volleyball? I could when I was 15 before I blew my knee).

I rarely play video games, play D&D with some friends (two lawyers, a social worker and a comp tech person), but wish I could find someone more compatible with me.

Anyway, I just thought I'd drop my two cents in.

LOL. In my experience, as much as a man may say he wants something, thinks he wants something, desires something, when he gets it, it loses its illusion. I suppose this is also true for women. Now if you had said a manual camera, we could have had something really special.

Men say they want a smart girl, til they get one and feel threatened or intimidated by her intelligence, then they want a dumb but hot girl just to have a piece of eye candy, til they get bored and wish for someone who they could have a conversation with. Then they was a smart girl. It kinda goes around and around like that.

Of course I could say the same thing about woman with assholes and nice guys. But that my dears is something for another day.

id have to disagree with you. i wont even use myself as an example (for it then sounds more like a pickup line than analysis) but my male friends date one of two types, intelligent girls or dumb girls. looks are a broad spectrum, some hot nerds (oh dear lordy hot) and some ugly stoooopid girls. i think, as much as guys dont say so, we place a good deal on intelligence. though i would conceed that the girls guys just sleep with are soley based on looks. only really cro-magnun smart men now marry the really dumb hot chick (if theyre both dumb...its adorable)

Actually, I currently own an Asashi Pentax Spotmatic 35mm SLR camera, circa 1968, which apparantly predates the days when they put flash shoes on cameras. Mostly I use it with my handy 50mm 1.4 Super Takumar multi-coated prime lens. I also own another Spotmatic and a Pentax K-1000 (both non-functional). I am now thinking of saving up my money to drop $400 on a medium format TLR camera (those boxy old school cameras with the two lenses on the front)

Well, I've fairly consistently wanted smart girls, especially intimidating smart girls who can kick my ass (oddly enough, I know more than a few of those)

But your thought reminds me of somethign Tim Allen (of Home Improvement fame) once wrote: Women are like cars, only a lot easier to have sex with without personal injury. Most guys want a sports car, or a pickup truck, and usually settle for a minivan or a station wagon. He also described every guy's hypothetical perfect woman being the sort who could be a total lady in the parlor, and a total whore in the bedroom.

Well, depending on what I'm doing at any given moment, I'm the perfect guy for either of y'all Sometimes I do sports like bowling and handball, othertimes I get deep into video games like Halo and Gun and Burnout, or old school computer games like Marathon and System Shock

But I love to take pictures (I can even do my own black and white processing for those pictures where discretion is advised , I love to read books (and occasionally write my own stories), and I am told I am a VERY good cook (I can even make my own spaghetti sauce from scratch )

As for the sex, well, let's just say I'm a total pervert (but a Gentlemanly Pervert )

by all definitions i am a nerd. but more like a nerd cross breed. i would be defined as a 'Gamer' really.

i play video games, post to online forums, spend more than 100 hours a week infront of a computer... ya know the basics of a nerd.

but i am a mix of complete Computer Geek and demented Psychopath...

and i guess that is a good mix for my catagory cus i can have extensive aurguments non existant things, like Which Final Fantasy girl is Hotter or if the third alien seen in the tattoine Bar camera pan would be considered Canon as by being able to survive tattoine, and my psychopathic urge to crush skulls is saited with massive frags on games. asides i am also 'plo3nt 3n 133t sp33k.'
