SOoooo.... what does everyone here do when they arent being possesed by a D20, game control, or computer screen ?

In between reading through the backlog of 3 webcomics at once, I try to draw. Recently I'm attempting to get some characters and stories together for my own webcomic. Hopefully I can actually get it launched by the end of the year. Probably won't happen, though.

I read, write, and watch movies mostly. When I'm not studying, that is... though since I'm an English major that's usually reading or writing.

Well, if you have an Engineering Degree, you can join the Air Force and apply for Officer Training School.

A cute blonde friend of mine who is a 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Force tells me she makes about 35K including various benefits for military officers (housing and food allowances which vary depending on the cost of living where you are stationed, cheap health and dental insurance for you and your dependants, not needing to think nearly as much about what clothes to wear to work, etc.) And as the joke goes, the hardest thing you have to do in the Air Force is figure out how to get out of the sand trap on the 17th hole.

I work over 40 hours and then pack up my house to move even though I haven't found anything yet to move into in KC....

when I'm not doing that... I'm hanging out with my friends or cat....

well my life used to be a little more involved before I moved from nj to or. I left all my east coast friends and family there, so wow has kept me and my online friends together during and after to the move. its funny, because were online its like were never apart...I think its more difficult to lose mmo friends than rl friends...you just can't get away! lol

on a serious note, I don't have many friends out here so its pretty boring...my job is cake, I get paid a lot and do little, I prolly work a little less than 40 a week...I've met a cool individual from lit that I've been messaging, that keeps me busy

I watch movies and try to go to the movies when I can...I surf the web often and read my guild boards.

I've had a chance to head out to the beach here and check out the downtown area but nothing exciting so far. ill go out for coffee and whatnot, but still nothing worthwhile, ha...I'm such a bore since I moved.

sadly for the most part, I'm buried in wow...whether it be raiding or pvping.

i suddenly realised i have made no attempts an answering my own question <woops>

I Spend a good chunk of my time writing, i am currently making attempts at forming a novel out of free form poetry i have written over the years... Sort of a bio written in poetry... so far its coming a long quite well

I also dabble with an alt book, but then i find i just like playing with the paint and end up very messy....

I work as a Pre school teacher for mentaly ill youth but am leaving that job to go back to school and finish a degree in Clincal social work <MDD focus>... grrr arggg its sounds spiffy and offical

But im pretty much just a nerd.... I DM a DD compaign once a week and play in an Exalted campaign as well... Anyone here know or play Exlated ?? and as u all notices am a WoW junkie ...

Wow. Well I have newfound respect for you. And becoming very messy painting doesn't seem so bad. As long as you enjoy it.

Your job sounds difficult and you must be amazing. My hat is off.

I play D&D would love to find a group to play with. Never played Exalted would like to. And I'm sure I can find anything else pertienent later.

And these answers. Maybe by better understanding your life WEe can better understand our own.

Sdly mine seems to work under the principle Be a good person to be happy. Or be a jerk and an asshole to get ahead.

If the polite way doesn't work, the smart way gets tried, If that doesn't work Kick it really hard.

Job titles should not earn me respect but thanks for the kind words it deff feels good to get a compliment

And i love working with kids i prefer to focus on studying them bu interacting and talking instead of changing their dipars but it pays the bills... But im the mis fit teacher anyway ... i actaully worked up a mini D&D system for the kids to play... its amazing actaully how much u can learn about someone by their char

and i dont think u will find many answers by examining me .. i learn everything the hard way.. i fall hard once or twice and then work around it i never learn my lesson though... im a hard core believer that there is no such thing as the end all outcome... Your life Belongs to you and you are capable of turning it into a dream or a nightmare... I am merely a very enthusiastic Cynic LOL

and if you get the chance to play exalted u should its Great.. easy to use d10 system and it seems to be more involved then DD as well...

Hell, when people roleplay in these games, they always just end up playing who they themselves want to be. Isn't that the point? You get to live out your fantasy self.

I don't. I have a lot of adaptation. But people also have accused me of being a sociopath after. Apparently we change all the time.
