Yeah I guess thats a good thing, So what did you guys Watch? I just got my online ticket in the mail for the Watchmen movie next week, I am going to the Imax midnight showing.

They canceled the midnight showing here. Well the Imax one at least, so we're seeing it opening day at noon in IMAX, <----------- and it's FREE FOR ME!
anyway enough bragging. We watched Tokyo Godfathers which she loved, then we made some wings, asiago & artichoke dip with pita chips and mocha-coffee cookies. It was a good day in deed. We also played Domino's and got to know a bit about eachother, so we talked for quite a few hours.
Going to her house next week to play Settlers.

Ah Tokyo Godfathers is a good one, Well at least you get in free so your all set, A friend of mines saw the screening of it in Texas he said it was good ( He never likes adaptions so this must be good).
Ah it's always good to get to know a new friend. I never even heard of settlers I was doing a little gambling in SF4 I got 50 bucks for beating this one dude like 10 times in a row ( easy money)

Howdy all!
Got settled in at my new base this week and started my new class (a grueling 28 day long course where we learn how to use Powerpoint and Excel and other similar things to aid us in the fight for Democracy and Freedom). I've quickly grown a strong dislike towards many of the airmen in my squadron. Grossly unprofessional and immature.
Today I cleaned out the fridge after my room mate left it half full of garbage (who decides they need to refrigerate empty soda bottles and empty boxes that food comes in?), and it's defrosting while I'm out in town. Tonight they're doing a free advanced screening of Watchmen at the base theater (the unadvertised perks of serving in the military)
Anyhow, while I'm living in the student dorms, the internet is either prohibitively expensive (pay-per-minute or $60 a month wireless plans) or rather inconvenient (free wi-fi at the diner outside the main gate, about a 20-30 minute walk from my dorm), and very public either way, so my visits to the Lit boards is gonna be limited (I got a seat at the diner in a corner with my back to the wall today).
Anyhow, gotta go, but I wanted to stick my head in and say "Hi" to everyone! :-D

Don't call it a come back
Hello all.
Been far too long since I had the will to visit the boards and with the Watchmen release looming I could not very well ignore it. Being that we have had many a comic discussion and this is possibly the most epic of all comic movies.
So I hope everyone gets a chance to see and enjoy the godliness that is Watchmen. It unfortunately releases the weekend I move.
Life=upheaval
I will be moving across the country, vertically rather than horizontally, i.e. the great and chilly north to the state shaped like a mitten. I'll be moving back with my family but in my own house. Yay for privacy!
I will happily provide email info to friends who message me for it, and for those who were (and might still care to be) close enough to be phone friends I will have a new number for that as well.
Details of the state of my absence are nothing more interesting than my own self imposed exile for my own good. As wonderful as you people are (and you honestly truly are) it is too easy to come to rely on you for outlets and connections. Things which have proved fairly disastrous due to my own negligence.
