I re-watched Afro Samurai last night, along with Ressurection ( comes out tomorrow).
I like it- alot, but you really gotta pay attention or else, missing even the SLIGHTEST bit of story will make you go "WTF???"

Yeah I've been in kind of an anime slump lately.

Oh yeah, got 2nd in the Magic pre-release sealed tournament (out of I think 36 people) and got some GREAT cards from my prize packs.

Just saw Versus: Directors Cut(not anime) and rewatched Ninja Scroll a couple days ago. Good old Ninja Scroll.

It was all the FMP humor, without the pretenses of the storyline.

... I like FMP. I really do.
But I grit my teeth every time they activate that fucking HOTBLOOD energy barrier/weapon/gadget. They could have just called it an electromagnetic device, but no. Had to be hotblood.

... Hate hotblood.

Mech pilots should not be fueled by rage and desperation, but careful planning and loyalty to their Clan.

Roaring and yellling =/= viable weapons.

Neg. I'm very picky. One has to catch me, and keep me intrigued, without being too ridiculous or dull. Fumoffu was quirky, cute, and amusing. I can relate to Sousuke, and am amused by his good natured screwups.

I detest Lucky Star. It's the anime about a couple of highschool girls doing nothing worth noting. I find more than half of the Gundam series unwatchable. I liked Outlaw Star, but not Cowboy Bebop.

Anime is just like any other television; sift through hours of garbage to find maybe four decent shows. Then wait for them to get canceled.
