Well, a popular way I've seen of online gaming is through mIRC.. It has die roller script you can make, so that the rolls are public, and no honour code needed.

Yeah.. but AOL sucks And the script robots in mIRC can do a LOT more than just roll dice.

Hmm...might need to look into that...I've wondered about gaming via intraweb, but never looked into it that much.

There are other ways too, some people play through dedicated programs for it, it uses a python code base.. I remember having to download the python engine for it to run.. But never got into that.. I've actually never been able to get fully immersed in online gaming.. I'm not the most creative person I know, but I have a gift for thriving off of others When I'm around creative people, I use them as catalysts and become more creative.. I'm a great roleplayer when surrounded by a group of good roleplayers. Thus, why I've not had the patience to teach noobs. (I don't use people consciously for it, it's just something I've noticed.. it's the main stem of my writer's block too.. I work best in a group for creative endeavors)

Yay for Python! Haven't messed around with that language in a good while.

Know what you mean about the "in person" aspect enhancing the game. IDK if I would be able to get into it as much online.

You know, I'm trying to cut back on my video gaming, I'm finding it's killing my creativity even more.. And the fact that when I play most games now I think about how they could've done things better and my creative juices revolve only around ideas for video games.. I really want to finish my novel and gaming world some day.. I need to cut out some of the distractions. I need my old gaming group back too.. they inspired a lot of my ideas.

I tried to LARP once, but got pissed when I couldn't actually call down a righteous pillar of holy fire to smite my enemies. So I went to Waffle House.

I still have nightmares....these were some skeezy people. And they would...dig this...Have sex 'in character'

Yeah, that's great I mean, Int translates to 10 IQ per point.. so 19 intelligence = 190 IQ.. I know my IQ isn't THAT high.. but I can at least ACT intilligent (AKA: I'm a good BSer)

I love watching a dumbass try to roleplay a smart char.. love it.
