and being a stylist is all about direct contact and making the customer happy, everything that can be considered customer service. Since I'm usually not a nice guy to strangers, even less so to those with an attitude, I've become a master of hypocrisy--er, P.R., I mean.

I know how that goes, even with my corporate computer watching it is still all about customer service to make my idiot clients happy. My Mom hates people as well but she's in Human Resources, lol.

I know how that goes, even with my corporate computer watching it is still all about customer service to make my idiot clients happy. My Mom hates people as well but she's in Human Resources, lol.

Kind of funny how we who aren't into being friendly, social and all happy end up in jobs that are all about customer satisfaction. I was before in tech assist over the phone. One of the few that actually knew what to do with a computer, rather than reading the script. Good gods, was that hard, being nice to idiots yelling at me.

Yea, I've always had to lie on my applications/personality tests so I could get customer service jobs because I'm not a big people person.

That is where you improvise. I might be nice on the phone - but occasionally after the call I just want to thump my hands in the desk in frustration.

But it's more because I'm supporting something that is a big benefit to a lot of people and I don't like it when it isn't working. I care about that.

A bit of a computer nerd here too, love games - especially strategy and simulation stuff. I wanted to fly planes at first, but that didn't happen. The computer is a cheap substitute.

Bit of a photo nerd too I guess. (that would be a huge understatement).
