Woo! Found a store that sells overpriced Mt. Dew! Actual Mt. Dew in Mexico (they don't distribute it over here). I almost cried. If they had had the Diet version I would've. Or tentacle grape.
Just wanted to share my nerdy glee.

Yeah, I almost did die with no net. I had money issues. My laptop was in pawn and my brother and I were stuck sharing a hotel room together for months. I had internet on my BlackBerry, but Lit always went very slow on there, so I just stayed away. Things are much better now. We got into a two bedroom apartment, got digital cable and internet set up, got our laptops out of pawn, and even switched to a HTC Windows Phone. I am actually typing on that right now because I am on the shitter, lol.

I went without TV before I went without Internet. I don't know how you could survive without it.
Indeed, Internet comes before PC!
Perhaps even before heat, possibly running water!
Well that does suck, but it's nice to hear you're doing better!
Also Toooo much info!
PS: Hope you had a nice dump

Doing good here, some Mario room progress, but it's small. Painting pixels on pipes and more blocks, should be in a position to add more bricks soon. Aside from that just relaxing and day dreaming about what I could be doing with a hot geeky guy on a lovely day like today.

That sounds too complicated, I can draw buildings but with pencils, I don't think I can handle the paint thing.
...and coincidentally, I'm in the mood to see what a geeky, horny girl can offer
if only I were considered hot by you and in your city...

She basically broke up with me. Not exactly, so I don't know if it's an ex or a current.

Let's hope you're right! Because I have strong... Uh... Needs (not exactly surprising if I'm a lit member, I know). Soon I'll know where I stand, however.Oh, sorry to hear that *hugs* I hope you get some... clarity soon? Considering the popularity of your thread I doubt you'll be alone for long
That's my hope, because we need a few franchises that have a vast, unexplored niche in Mexico. Best Buy's success its a proof of that, 3 years in this city and they're basically opening one store per year...
Pardon my french, that's fucking awesome!

There's nothing too exceptional in terms of geekiness, but lots of times those kinds of t-shirts cost about $17+ online/at places like Hot Topic, and everything at Target is either $10 or $13 (depending on how much licensing is involved). I got this in blue/gray for $10 yesterday, and I think I've also gotten a Mountain Dew t-shirt and a Thundercats t-shirt for $10 each.
Best Buy is actually being successful somewhere? That's surprising.

As a poster/lurker on your thread I'm aware
I've watched your vid about that. But glad you'll get it sorted soon, still sorry to hear about it though. Hehe, it is coming out really good. They've started some work on the ground now too.

México had never been seen as a county that bought technology... until they noticed that the ones that really want it, we go to the US and buy a bunch of gadgets because many stores here bloated the prices and couldn't get them cheap dye to many reasons: because shipping for a few things in a store that sells many things, rather than a specialized store, because they simply bought crap rather than making actual market studies (for real)... Also, it seems that the ones working at best buy know their way around exporting/importing taxes. So they came with the, say, any ps3 bundle or a lcd screen 30% cheaper than most stores, they were a huge success.
