I liked Sonic too, used to watch the cartoons, just like I used to watch the live action Mario Show.

But Mario and the NES were my first, you never forget your first :rose::heart::kiss:

How about having the Super Mario/Duck Hunt combo cartridge? I concur, you never forget your first, shiny golden Zelda cartridge, I treasure thee. *tear*

Had an Atari, but I was a Nintendoer, NES begot Gameboy begot SNES begat N64 begat Gamecube. Sonic? All you did was run around, jump and collect coins? I mean, how stupid is ... wait a minute ... well ... we have negative levels!!!

I'm taken but delighted to see this thread exists! I mean, unless one of you can overcome my gf's will save (A damn high one, if you ask me) with a mind-affecting spell.

I've seen your pic thread, I think the line of ladies looking to take out your girlfriend would extend well beyond the couple in this thread.

Sharing is caring ;)

... and knowing is half the battle *G I JOE!*

Now I want to go watch the humorous GI Joe PSAs online ...

Oh it could take some time, right now I can see 3 laptops, 1 PC, and 1 nerdy girl who needs alot of attention ;)

Then I'll forgo the timer, fill out an application, which apparently I need to do to be allowed to begin such a marvelous endeavour, and get a whole bunch of anti-static bags. ;)

Very true, that first gold cartridge is a hard one to forget.

I had an Apple E2, Atari, NES, Gameboy, Sega, Dreamcast, Xbox, Super NES, N64, Wii, Playstation, PS2, PS3, etc. I think the only major game system I haven't owned is a 360.

Basically my parents bought all 3 major systems, and when they updated we bought the new ones.

I'm just from that generation where everybody had to love Pokemon for a short while.
I even dreamt about it once.

My first job I worked at Spencer Gifts and sold Pokemon cards like crazy, I used my employee discount like mad on them as well, lol.

lol It's been so long since I logged in I totally forgot that was on my profile, what a difference a year makes.

Aaaand I hear my Abby Sciuto barking for me in the living room, she just can't bear being caged up when I'm home.

Cool.
I never played with Pokemon cards though, as I had an older and wiser brother who showed me that Magic the Gathering was so much better

I still have that gold cartridge. Probably works as well in my original box. Oh the memories ... and I mean honestly, if you picked the red health potion as opposed to an additional heart of life, just turn off the console and leave the rest of us gamers alone.

Ummm ... no Turbographics?!?!?! Hello?!?!?! A selection of over 8 titles to choose from?!?!? Best system EVER!!! (Please note: there was much sarcasm in the last few lines of text which can be difficult to convey online.)

Scientia potentia est, which is why I'm a great Domme ;)

Mmmmm ... very true ... the former part about knowledge at least. The latter I have yet to be allowed to verify. ;)

Up until we got the Xbox I even had that little robot that went with the system to play Gyromite (I think I got that name right).

lol I'm afraid I missed that one though sounds about as good as Dreamcast was.
