Speaking of traditions, I just saw youtube video of the Teddy Bear toss in Calgary. It actually made me chuckle a bit.

The funny thing about sports is that fans take ownership of the wins like they had something to do about it. "My Falcons are fuckin' tearing it up this year!" Really? You own the Falcons? Or maybe you're running the 100+ yards per game and scoring a few touchdowns to put W in the win column? Well considering you are still wearing a Falcons jersey with Vick's printed across the back, something tells me you didn't even realize you were a winning team. Just an example.

haha, i know what you mean but i'm guilty of using the whole "we" thing. i know i didn't do anything to help the team win obviously, but it's just become a way of talking for me. when i talk to fans of other teams i'll usually start my sentence with "you guys...." :rolleyes:

i'm not really a fan of getting a jersey or anything like that with a guy's # or especially name on it. a majority of players change teams too often. i remember when i was 14 or 15 i got my sox jersey with clemens' # on it, and then he left for toronto a year or two later, haha.

You're talking about a Bith. The cantina from A New Hope, right? Where Obi-wan chops the one guy's arm off? Yeah, that's a Bith.

Sy Snootles is the name of the character of the dancing thing with a long trunk/snout/mouth/thing.

Okay..since you two said different things..I had to look up each one...
Dark Sage was correct for the one I was talking about...And the Bith were the ones playing the music in the Cantina.

Good evening my fellow nerds! Spent the day finishing the third season of Eureka and working on my sig, was a nice nerdy day.
 
Eureka's a great show. I remember watching the first episode when it came on and really enjoying the weirdness of it.
