I wasn't gonna say it but fine, fantasy leaguers are geek/nerd posers

I think they are sports geeks....... which I would classify as a totally different kind of geek. They spout out stats, get really passionate about minor details, wear their team's uniform..... I would say they have geekly tendencies.... which would be a good name for a band.

In my mind, a nerd is someone who is socially awkward sometimes and knows a lot of obscure stuff.

A geek is someone who embraces a subculture that mainstream society doesn't normally consider appropriate.

the two are not mutually exclusive.

For some reason, I think of geeks more like sloppy-live-in-mom's-basement-and-who-spit-when-they-talk people. I think of nerds as clean, smart and people who don't fit in to normal social standards because they are slightly shy because they don't connect on several levels.

I say there's a large difference between compiling a true statistical analysis of a sport and the cubicle jockeys around me who sit on the backs of those people, using apps created from those people's work to pick their line-up for the week.

I think he use to do Flash comics........ or at least Impulse. Then he had a creator owned vampire comic called Crimson. It came out the same time Battle Chasers and Danger Girl came out for Image.

i don't know either of those titles. the only image books i collect are savage dragon and shadowhawk

have you seen that carnage limited series yet? only the first issue has come out so far, and it's all painted artwork, it looks pretty awesome.
