How long is a piece of string, it varies on how busy it is, but probably around 4 hours

do you like working retail? i worked at a grocery store in high school and some of college, and although i can't say i hated the job itself it totally made me hate people

I generally dislike people anyway, but no I don't hate it, I hate working at the pizza place, but that's because I hate working at night

haha, yeah, i guess i should have said it made me hate people more. i always preferred the later shifts because i'm not a morning person at all. when i was unemployed during the summer i was staying up until 2 or 3 in the morning every day and then sleeping in until 11 or 12, it was fucking great

I don't like it, I'm not particularly a morning person, but I am a night person and I don't want to spend my favourite part of the day working not to mention the clashes it cause when trying to hang out with friends

that's a good point. i think perfect hours would be something like 11-7 or 12-8. it's late enough that you get to sleep in, and you get out early enough that you can do shit at night if you want. 9-5 fucking sucks, i'd trade that for something else in a heartbeat
