I think that sounds like a good plan. You may also want to check out J!nx or SplitReason for some cool t-shirts.

The Princess Bride is awesome! It's a classic.

If your into Big Bang Theory you could probably check out their wiki and pull out a ton of geeky references to look into.

Thanks for the tips!

A lot of the stuff on The Big Bang Theory goes over my head, but I get it enough that I can laugh. I think that's how the writers intended for it to be.

Hrm. I honestly don't know where the nearest comic book shop is. Besides, I fear I might be very out of place in one. Maybe I can go with my nerd-crush :). But short of doing that, are there comics I can view online? I also didn't know Batman Begins was a comic.

I don't know what a Browncoat is, but I guess I'll find out when I start watching it.

I did take him to the Back to the Future 25th Anniversary re-release. I guess that counts as a date, but we haven't really been out on a "date" since then. I get the feeling he really doesn't like dates. Like going out to dinner and all that. We just hang out sometimes. If I feel like going out somewhere with him, I feel I have to trick him into it. Like, it has to be nerdy enough for him to want to do it too. Which is great, because I want to make him comfortable, of course.

It'll become apparent if/when you watch the show :)

Well this really applies to men in general, but especially those who aren't usually going out on a lot of dates...we're clueless.

He may have no idea you like him. I mean like no idea whatsoever. You might just want to tell him.

I have always been a nerd. And I'm an ancient guy. To give you an example. I loved Star Wars. I saw it when it was only called Star Wars. And in the theatre. :)
Same with me. Went with my g/f/s. Huge lineup. When movies played for months not weeks.

Lord of the rings fans are to me what nerds are to regular people. ><

For all you netflixers out there, check out the History Channels show "The Universe" I'm on season 4 and it's just an awesome show for astronomy buffs.

Not as bad as the show making references to people you may or may not have a small personal grudge with....

The geek shall inherit the world!!

wicked thread, gotta love us nerds and geeks.
Personally into movies, drool!!!
Manga, anime, photography, horror books some sci-fi books.
Hit me up people if any of you fancy a chat.

Has anyone watched the stargate universe series yet, I would love to know how it compares to the original.

On a side note, Christopher Judge is so badass

Damn, no luck just the puppy and me, lol.

Good Morning my fellow nerds/geeks!

Man, you know it's a tough morning when even your hyper active puppy doesn't want to wake up ><

Morning/Afternoon CS

A puppy doesn't want to get up? I think all signs point to going back to bed then :D

I wish! Freezing outside too, I'm totally with the puppy on this one ><

Alas technology waits for no one so time to get ready for work.

I agree, its far too cold outside.

Then again its agreed amongst my friends that if we were all suddenly creatures from a fantasy setting I'd be a Salamander :D

.... I wouldn't mind spending the day in bed like the puppy... Although I would prefer to spend it in bed with a pussy :cattail:
