Spending Christmas Eve/Morning staying overnight at the local casino, but that's about it. Mostly just relaxing and doing any remaining shopping.

Also my yearly gift exchange party with my friends.

That sounds really nice though I'm spending an entire week with my family, I have no idea how I'll survive that long.

Ah, thankfully the only family I spend holidays with is my Mom and Dad, now that my grandmother has passed, which is why we're hitting the casino this year. Their comps are covering everything except our gambling

The rest of my family is back west, my Mom's brother in California and my Dad's family in Nevada. We almost never see them, and don't visit for holidays.

Eh, when I was 5-6 my Dad had a falling out with his family so we didn't see them for over 15 years. Aside from my Mom and Dad the only other family I really ever knew were my Mom's parents and her brother. I'm not really used to them being around or having much more than my immediate family.

I live with my In-Laws, so I look forward to the weekends when I go through bouts of Work-induced Insomnia & Self- Imposed Solitude... Being with then 24/7 will make me genocidal

Speaking of which... It is time for me to turn back to stone from Lit & be domestic, before the Mother In-law finds another reason to bitch *sigh*

Living with the in laws sounds torturous! I value my private time so having in laws around would drive me nuts

Yea, I think that would depend on the in-laws.

My parents are very hands off with me. Hell I can barely get my Mom to stay on the phone with me for more than a minute. When I lived at home they were very good about respecting my space, even more so cause I was usually naked in it >.>

However, I don't think they'd be horrible in-laws. Not when compared to some of my friends parents, like my friend who is a year older than me, married, living in her own home, but can't even have an evening out with me without her Mother texting her at least 5 times.

lol Not so much an issue now that I've got a dog that can force me to go outside at a moment's notice.

When I lived at home my Mom's philosophy was "She'll come home when she gets hungry." which is exactly what she told me Dad when he would ponder where I was and that was the end of it. I never got worried phone calls or inquiries.
