Who here knows, let alone has tried, the legendary Dark Side of OZ?

I have such a crush on Marvin (the new Apple-looking one, not the one from the old tv show).

He is so awesome ! Esp. 'cause he is voiced by Alan Rickman

Just like how your Location seems to be either A. a Pink Flloyd reference (likely), or B. a Transformers Bayverse reference (only Transformers fans like me would really go there)

I actually thought it was a reference to Attilan or the Blue Area of the Moon

He's the only good thing about the film. I love him! Especially when he shoots the Vogon and they all become equally depressed :D

I thought the film was alright. Loved the bit when they were on the beach and kept getting hit in the face everytime they swore. My friend who was with me was crying with laughter at that point ;)

more hidden lore to share

The way I have learned it, it goes like this:

Get a CD pf the album Dark Side of the Moon
Start the DVD of The Wizard of OZ. The one we all know & love with Judy Garland.
When the 3rd MGM Lion's roar finishes, mute the movie & start the music

If done properly, the music will go completely in sync with the movie from start to finish.
It is supposedly a really interesting way to appreciate both. I have seen theaters play this with a laser light show.

I recommend trying this twice- once sober, and the next intoxicated in some fashion (preferably legally)

*This reminds me of a few weeks back when I explained how to do Body Shots;)*

I just think it's got a very new feel to it compared to the book. Reading it, I didn't imagine Marvin would look like Steve Jobs designed him as well as Heart of Gold.

Oh, I know body shots :p

I've actually never watched The Wizard of OZ.

Zooey doesn't do it for me. I think she has a quirkiness that makes her very appealing, but it doesn't work on me.

YES! And a brilliant Nichas D. Wolfwood quote to go with that... Priceless!

Ah Vash.

The biggest problem I had with Trigun is that Vash is too similar to Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin - every time I watched/read Trigun I kept getting flashbacks. Also the artwork for the manga is REALLY messy.

Manga was good, lost July and all that. The anime dub was the first anime dub for Johnny Bosch who played Adam on Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.

I liked Kenshin dubs better, also Yahiko got so badass at the end.
