I still have an old NES lying around somewhere in a drawer. I should get it out one day and see if it still works.....

If it says NINTENDO on it the odds are it will work for quite some time! :D

Had it been a SEGA you'd have won me over.

Ha! You, Carnage and me wouldn't make for much of a sleepover :D

SEGA was for rich kids growing up.... I never had the latest thing, and SEGA's "blast processing" was too rich for my blood.

New...

So I'm very new to the boards here on Lit, bit this caught my eye, something homely about a nerd haven.

So hello everyone! My name is Sarah, I'm not the worlds biggest nerd, gamer, let alone have s computer sat this moment but I have been a owner of a comic book and gaming store, love Portal, am currently playong Dresden Files RPG and Pathfinder.

I do have a thing for comic books! :D

I refuse to grow a massive collection, but there are a few titles I'm intent on owning in their entirety. :)

Welcome to lit, and to the best thread on lit.

My brother and I got a SEGA for sharing since it was what my cousin had so we could borrow games from him. I still think Sonic is more awesome than Mario.

So true. I was too poor for consoles growing up but had quite a few iterations of the Gameboy. Remember the Game Gear being too expensive for most!

I used to work in a comic book store.....that was before it was cool to be a comic book fan.

That was one of our problems, the other was window shopers and people who would only buy some snacks and that was it, when they came to play. But you live and learn, if I did it again I know know a million things I would do difftent.

Dresden Files RPG is Awesome, I've played three campaigns so far. I love the freedom and its much more realistic than other RPGs I've played.

EDIT: Aside from magic fairies ETC. I just mean gaining experience doesn't make you invincible from a gun in the hands of a newbie.

Hmm, if they had left Indiana Jones alone at 3, I'd have been happy. Unfortunately George Lucas had to go and do odd shit to it!

Yeah. I wish that Sean Connery had agreed to do something other than Indie. He killed his career with that move, although he was retiring anyways...

Henry Sr was the best part of that franchise. No woman of any age would kick him out of bed, as both my mother and grandmother have stated. And neither would I.:D
