lot of comic book related movies have come out in the last 10+ yeas or so and for the most part they're doing them right

I like Ryan Reynolds. Always have and I'd much rather see him as Hal Jordan that a freaky mouth-sewn-shut Deadpool. The trailer looks great. So many great looking comic themed movies coming out.

they totally fucked up deadpool in wolverine: origins. they're supposed to be making a deadpool movie and reynolds is actually a big fan of the character so i think they'll do it right.

Both Iron Man movies were great and I'm very much looking forward to Thor and Captain America. Scott Pilgrim was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time.

One can only hope. The plans for the next Wolverine movie sound pretty tasty.

i'm very much looking forward to Thor and Captain America as well. Haven't seen Scott Pilgrim yet, but I'll probably check it out once it's available on netflix

What are your feelings on the Scott Pilgrim movie?

haven't seen it yet. what did you think of it?

Love Ryan Renolds in just about anything, even more so the less clothes are involved. :)

Also love me some comic movies, just don't always have someone to go with me.

 you don't have a geek squad? there's usually a small group of us that go out to check out the comic movies together. for some of the more mainstream ones (batman, iron man) we actually get girls to go with us!

I can get my friends out for the mainstreamish ones, but not the lesser known films.

I didn't see it (and most likely won't), but some of my friends are still complaining about how it's an under-appreciated masterpiece .

i get kind of nervous when i hear talk like that because i heard the same thing about napoleon dynamite and i thought that was pure crap

yeah, it's tough with the lesser known ones. i don't even go out and see all of them. i never bother with the first hulk movie or the first fantastic four because they both looked bad

I think I watched the first 10 minutes, saw basically every meme that had been popping up, and turned it off because it looked horrible.

smart move on your part, you saved yourself an extra 70 or 80 minutues

You know what, every time you say hi to me like that, I can just picture you as an excitable little puppy :D

I am knackered and right now trying to satisfy my hunger and get rid of this headache

knackered? what does that mean? i got some homemade lasagna from my dad today, want some? ;)

knackered = really really exhausted

would be nice, I wanted warm food, but it was too late to order food and I didn't feel like cooking anything

ah, i didn't know that. must be a british english word

i hate when that happens! thankfully i've got a few places close to me that are 24/7, then it's just a matter of not being lazy and actually going out

Yes it is

Well you're lucky then, but this is England we don't get many 24/7 food places

hey geekamaniacs i think the GL trailer was great. but i loved the last batman movie.

both batman movies were excellent, especially the dark knight. i remember when my friends and i heard heard that heath ledger was going to be the joker we were all like "what the fuck?" but now i can't imagine anyone else portraying the character

it's good and bad. it's nice to be able to get food from somewhere pretty much any time i want, but eating that late isn't good for the waistline.

there aren't any diners or burgers places that are open late over there?
