Yeah, def not my thing. I'm into hard rock and metal.....metallica, Alice in chains, disturbed, buckcherry, etc.

I got into Matthew Good a while ago thanks to another forum. Is he big in Canada? I think he's from Toronto

Then I don't think it's right to say "it's awful" just that it's not your thing. I really like the Tea Party but don't listen to Buckcherry for instance because I don't enjoy them. I also listen to a lot of metal and hard rock, but I have a really expansive music collection as well (considering some of the material I've posted in links here).

Matt Good is pretty big, although when it was The Matt Good Band was the biggest era. His solo stuff is good, but doesn't get as much recognition.

One of my bosses has scheduled to take leave on Dec 7th.

I don't think anyone at the office, but me knows why.

Yeah some guy came in on my day off and asked where i was, he want to sell me his TRON arcade game for 300

I was under the impression that he was pretty big there, but I don't know what kind of airplay he gets around here. I saw him in concert back in April and was surprised to see that the place was packed.

As for your other point, I have to disagree. Thinking they're awful is just an opinion. Matt Good isn't anything like a majority of what I listen to but I like him because I think it's good.

It is nerd related and at least one person on this thread will be affected by it.

Matt Good is popular, but not as popular as he used to be, at least by radio airplay. He played two sold-out shows at the university here a year or two ago, and he plays a bunch of festivals.

The problem is that saying "it's awful" is pretty insulting to people who like the band.
