Need HELP with Private Messages

Somehat new here - I received a notice from Literotica indicating I received 2 PMs. I go to the hyperlink, log in, and Literotica Forum page comes up - blue (like baby blue or something close to it) background comes up.

When I click on any of the tabs, including Private Messages, it appears a new page starts to load, then finishes without anything new appearing on the screen. How do I get my PMs? Any ideas on what I might be doing wrong? HELP !!!

The baby blue background suggests that you are not logged in. Try logging in again.

PMs - Still Doesn't Work

I tried re-logging in and the same things happens.
It recognizes my name,, shows it and says I have 2 Pms in my folders - I cannot get past the baby blue screen that shows this information - HELP!

This is SOOoooooo Frustrating. HELP!

alright, this might help

when you log into literotica an have pm's tha box pops up you go check it an then procced to another forum but when you hit the back button again it pops up that you have another pm but its because you hit tha back button an went to the page you got the pm's from. use the links above the thread your reading or posting in to go back to main page or the last page you went to an the old pm box wont pop up.

an if that dont help, try a disk clean up an delete your cache files log back in an see if that helps any. an if neither helps good luck.

Occaionally Lit gets very busy and pages hang when loading. If the problem persists, try refreshing the page that doesn't completely load.

You can also try going a different route to your PM page. Instead of using the link to Private message at the bottom of the forum index page, use the User CP button at the top of each BB page and check your PM's from there.

If you are running a pop-up stopper, that might be blocking the PM page from opening in a new window. I had to configure my pop-up stopper to allow pop-ups at literotica.

ub6's information is good info if you're getting "phantom" PM notices and the 2 messages are old or sent messages. Set the PM page to display "from the beginning" to be sure that you're seeing all of the PMs in your inbox.
