Need Help With Facts for Story about Air Force Vets

Hey all,

Haven't posted here before, but my buddy Tom Collins says it's a friendly and helpful group.

Therefore, I asking for help with a new story that I'm writing. I need someone to give me background information on the daily ins and outs of life overseas while stationed in Kuwait or Iraq in Desert Storm or the current conflict.

Additional information regarding daily life as a medic or medical nurse in the Air Force would be extremely helpful.

Last week was bad.

This week, no so much. I've written a chapter in WoC, but nothing else so far. I'm trying to help a friend overcome a huge life change and so I offered to co-author the story about the Air Force Vet. I know that isn't what you wanted to hear...but it's where I'm at.

No worries, doll. I'm still stalledon editing WIEAS, and can't really concentrate on anything else right now anyway.

No, WoC isn't posted past the last chapter you looked at. I'm still working on ch. 5.

And Yes it's Mr. A and things aren't good. Mr. D packed some stuff, said some ugly things and left for good, *he says* so things are really rough right now.

Damn, that sincerely sucks. I wish I understood people better, or that they were at least willing to explain why they do the seemingly irrational things that they do.

ETA: Just had an idea for how you might get some info for this story. Have you tried Googling for blogs written by soldiers?
