I'm not sure if this is the right board to be asking this question, but I have just finished writing a rough draft of a novel for Literotica. It needs a lot of polishing and I am in dire need of help in making one of the major characters believable.
The character, as curently written, is a 30 year old married woman "Angel"who answers an ad written by the main character, a 60 year old man "Tom" who's wife has recently passed away. His ad reads "liberal woman between 18 and 30 wanted to model for exhibitionistic outdoor videowork."
The story is told through the viewpoint of Tom, and through conversations between the two of them he slowly learns about her past. She and her husband had become interested in exhibitionism early in their marriage and as time went on it started getting out of control. She became more and more addcted to it with it ending suddenly one night at a swingers party when her husband found her drunk and submitting to a gang bang with six different men. After consultaion with a psychologist, she and her husband decide to settle down and become "normal" again.
Three years have now passed, and she has decided that at age 30 she wants to experience the highs that exhibitionism gave her in the past. Tom's ad has awakened the memories of those deliecious highs. The begins to rationalize that this may be her last chance since nature takes away beauty little by little, and at thirty she has already noticed a lessing of the hard body she had at 23. Not only is she ready for any assignment that Tom has in mind, she is preparing some assignments for herself as well.
The problem I am having with her character is that I really don't have a clue as to how a female exhibitionist thinks. Are they doing it to please themselves or are they doing it to keep men happy? Is exhibitionism related directly to sex or are they two
different issues? Is exhibitonism and prudery simply different sides of the bell shaped curve or is there a common thread that ties the two together?
If anyone out there has any true stories of exhibitionists, either yourself or someone you know, I would appreciate the input. What I'm looking for are the feelings that the person has when engaging in the activity and how it affects their thinking, their lives, and the lives around them.
