Sorry, its the numbers, I always get numbers mixed up.

The limits for an avatar are given in Pixels -- 150 x 150 -- and in bytes -- 20480 bytes.

Intrigued, you really need to download IrFanview so you can manage your pictures better. The Thumbnail function allows you to review an entire directory's worth of pictures without having to worry about the filenames. Resizing pictures is simply a matter of typing in the size you want and hitting enter.

The best thing about IrFanview is that it's totally free.

Can someone be sweet enough to put a Christmas border around this pic for me.

Thanks!

What sort of trouble did you have with the download? There are several sites to choose from to download IrFanview.

here's your picture sized for an avatar

Soiled dove, I love that pic!

Can anyone help me with my two posts above?
I just want a 'christmas-like' border around them.
Does photoshop do something like that?

WH, PLEASE HELP!!!

Thanks Mona a friend sent it to me and I loved it myself.

The problem wasn't with the download per say it was that...It said I had to activate the program and when I tried it gave me an error.

Yes, PhotoShop or PhotoDeluxe are the programs that do that kind of thing the best. However, I don't have any Christmasy borders to apply to your pictures and left them for those who work with PhotoShop and have a collection of overlays to apply.

Thanks Harold.
Guess I'll just stick with the christmas AV's I have.
Only two more weeks to go anyway. :)

I was looking at a post about web tv users.
I had 1 about 5 years ago and it would not do much in that area.
Maybe they have upgraded them since then.
.
Does it have a port to ad a 100 mb zip drive?
If so that would be a good way of saving the pictures for later to upload. Then the person could go to a friends house and see if they can plug in the zip drive to upload the pictures
