and also make a second one 150X150 pixels if that isn't the Lit size, then I only need one

this was almost perfect except its a little too high of a cut up my back.
could you bring it down a teensy bit to cut it just above my butt crack? lol

and i tried pic editing stuff reconmended in the past when i asked to resize, I just don't get it, i'm retarded when it comes to pic editing it frustrates me to no end.

Hmm I just used one for my av and it worked ok sometimes you get an error message but if you carry on it displays it anyway.
The size thing I don't get as they all show as under 5 kb.
Have you tried logging off lit, dumping your cookies and shutting your browser down and then trying again?

Download the resize images again and make sure they're saved as JPG images -- it sounds like they were saved as BMP images. (try right-click, "Save Target As" if you're having trouble with saving them as JPGs after opening them.)

Yeah you are probably right Harold, it never occured to me, as Opera simply saves them as they are, thanks.

Irfanview is indeed a PC only program. I don't know of any MAC specific program that is as easy to use as IrfanView and/or free but almost any image editing program can be used to resize images and convert them to JPG format to meet the filesize limitations.

Adobe Photshop is the one program I know will run on a MAC and do a good job of resizing images without distortion but the process there is overly complicated by the need to resize the image and then resize the canvas an then export to JPG format.

What you need to look for is a program that "resamples" images when it resizes them and has a "Save As JPG" or "Export to JPG" function.

.......hmmmm ok techno speak time I see ! ......I have Photoshop, and well not too au fait with it..... but the Image Size page does have Resample, and then goes to Save as......whatever, so no probs there. Think the problem (apart from the operator!), is resolution in this particular case...... twas set at 150..... hence doubling the file size, and I just couldn't get it down .....I tried hard, .... te he sounds like a typical problem here on this board eh ........ Will keep at it....

I ended up reducing colours to 256, doesn't seem to make to much difference with av sized pics.
