Nearly 6 in 10 say they either 'dislike' or 'hate' Hillary Clinton: poll

I am part of that majority but you could say much the same thing for The Donald. If "None of the above" were to be an option, it might well earn a plurality of the votes. This is really a sad state of affairs.

ETA: This may be the most telling statistic of all:
The poll also found that about a third of Clinton and Trump supporters said the most important reason they support their candidate is in opposition to the other party's candidate. Just over three in 10 (33 percent) of Clinton supporters said they support her in opposition to Trump, and a similar share of Trump supporters (36 percent) said they support him in opposition to Clinton.

Though Trump has been criticized by the media and politicians for his lack of clarity on specific policy issues, 31 percent of his supporters say that his positions on the issues are the most important reason for their vote choice. Nearly a quarter say that his leadership ability is the most important factor. Less than one in 10 say they mainly support him because he is the Republican nominee (6 percent) or because of his experience (2 percent).

Most elections are the same

And

Dee Trump will be loved

Ex CuntClinton has been around for 30 yrs, to be so hated is fatal

It says something about America that the two most hated candidates are going to be the nominees.

For which the voters have themselves to blame. The nastiness with which posters to forums such as this show toward anyone putting their names forward for office pretty much determines who will be willing to walk that bed of coals.

If not for the Dems BS super delegates there might actually have been a non loathsome nominee in Sanders, but why would they want that?

Trump's an assm but upfront and blatant and the media has no trouble going after him, Clinton is the dirtiest candidate I can remember including her walking talking sex offender husband that more shit comes out about daily and the media lovers her and the idiots here act like she's decent, the woman is as despicable, if not more so than Trump.

I'm going to be interested in seeing what the turn out is. Either it will be huge, as people who vote for the candidate they hate least to ensure the more hated one does not get in or...

So many will be disgusted with these two appalling options they will stay home.

One thing is for sure, all of Florida's dead will be voting as always

An oft repeated fallacy. She hasn't hit needing the super delegates yet (in 2008 Obama did). She never has been behind in the count of regular delegates, and she's always been ahead in raw votes--she's over 3 million votes ahead of Sanders in primary votes now. So, this is just fallacious wishful thinking on your part and on the part of others. This raw vote comparison figure is just being ignored by Sander's supporters because it destroys his "she's stealing the nomination" argument totally.

That said, the party workers who are actually going to have to do the heavy lifting in getting a nominee elected (and then putting in a Congress that will get the party program enacted), deserve a say in who gets nominated. This depiction of super delegations as some sort of drone a candidate has in her/his pocket for no particular reason other than having actually done their homework in the years before the primary season is lame and ignorant. They are the campaign workers and existing elected officeholders of the party that make the party's fight in Congress win. If Bernie Sanders had paid any attention to/invested any effort into the people he actually would need in office to get his programs through, he'd have more of the super delegates in his column.

I would have been just as happy if Mallory had shown better in the primaries--or if Biden or fresh faces had shown up. She's not MY candidate; she's the most president-prepared of any candidate, of any party, who has shown up--from either party. Thems the options we have.

Sanders has gotten five slots on the Democratic Party platform committee, all activists. Chances are good a lot of Sander's bully pulpit positions will make it onto the platform. Chances are also good that the Hillary people won't fight them, because she won't mind moving left at all, being able to say "the party made me do it." She can then slough some of the supporters who helped get her to the nomination and can take on some of the more popular "stick it to the rich" stances Sanders has mobilized so well.

A bunch of you here are just being simple minded and naive. (So, what else is new?)
