No local needed.............

A little bit of a ouch factor with the actual piercing............

I have fond that surgical steel is the best, and I have been told that you if you want to wear gold you need to have 18k or higher......

But all in all it looks sexy..................

I had mine pierced in April. It really didn't hurt much more than getting my ears pierced...as for the ring, surgical steel is what you can normally buy - and I found out I'm sensitive to anything else on the ring. I would assume that would be safe to use, but a reputable piercer would know for a fact. Though I'm sure you don't need to go to a "shop" to get it done, I would recommend doing so if for no other reason than hygene/sterile equipment and that they will have recommendations from others on their proceedures.

Here in Charlotte I recommend Ink Link for piercings and tattoos.

I had mine done about 10 years ago and it didn't hurt at all. I have since taken it out as it didn't seem so unique any more, but am seriously considering having it redone.
