Naughty/Erotic books

I enjoyed 50 Shades but overall found the writing to be very sophomoric. I actually liked the story better than the sex scenes which I felt were poorly written.

I read the last two books, and summarized the first. A few of the sex scenes were fine but it felt overplayed and pathetic at times. IMO!

Second book was by far the favorite of them, I felt the third book had so much unnecessary drama. Again IMO!

I did love the scene where he crumbles to his knees, begging her not to Go. Helped me realize a dom needs their sub just as much as the sub needs their dom!

Anyways, as far as any other erotic reads I'm very limited. I have read a fee stories posted to lit, I'm more of a writer then a read though.

You want to read a very erotic book...read the original....Fanny Hill. Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure - 1749, that's the yr is was written. I know, some of you might think that was the era of the dinosaur.

I know we need Mommy/Soccer Mom porn like 50 shades or some other. Where it needs 8th grade descriptions....

Seriously, that's good advice. But people, especially anyone who identifies with any part of the BDSM spectrum, really should read The 120 Days, just to see what can be done with the genre. (It also puts paid to the unspoken idea that our age is uniquely filthy...)

When that's done, everyone should read Petronius Arbiter's Satyricon. The things those Romans did with peacocks and dwarves beggars belief.

I remember Erica Jong's re-write of Fanny Hill as a pretty sexy read (as are many of Jong's novels).

Here I am seeing this thread come up again so I have a thought....

Would anyone be interested it setting up an erotic book exchange? I know that after I have read a book, I don't usually return to the same erotica after one reading. ?..

nancy friday is my girl

well i have to say, for non-fiction, real life erotica, nancy friday's secret garden was a constant thrill

Has anyone ever read The Crossfire series by Sylvia Day? I have read all of the 50 Shades, and personally the Crossfire series are 1,000 times better.

I enjoyed Dirty by Megan Hart too. Any book that I can feel in my stomach while I am reading it is one I would recommend.

I found bootleg copies of 50 shades.

The lists of the 50 shades are far better. Really ruined the whole lower lip biting thing - the problem with crowd sourced porn.

I agree. I still have copies of all of her sexual fantasy collections, both mens and womens and still get a kick going back to them every now and then.

I don't read as much as I used to, I remember Perfume Garden,(can,t remember who wrote it) from way back. I have read several by Felice Ash, and Maria del Rey her Paradise Bay I keep going back to, there is a chapter, where she meets an artist and sculptor Jean-Pierre, who had sculptured a statue of a young man naked holding his erect penis. Amanda a journalist, was interviewing him, and he showed it to her, she became aroused and sucked it, then sat on it. Later he sat on it with it in his ass, and she straggled Jean- Pierre's cock, I found the scene very erotic. Makes me hard now thinking about it

I tend to read a lot of ebooks from Ellora's Cave they deal with ranges from BDSM to shapeshifters, vampires
I also have found that tuebl have a stack of free ebooks erotica downloads from popular authors to the less published. You need a ebooks reader th
hope this helps

Sometime ago I started a thread about audiobooks. What are you listening to on the way to work? What is turning you on on the way home? I spend ALOT of time on the road and listen to Audio books often while I drive and read on our Kindle after my shift before nodding off.

I've listened to Sylvia Day's Bared to you (Crossfire Series). Too much inner struggle/drama there for me. My wife and I listened to 50 Shades together and we both found it fairly laughable vs erotic. Again filled with more personal angst or inner struggle and drama.

I have recently enjoyed Luke Young's Friends With Benefits series. Light erotica with a storyline, a hint of drama and a cool cast of characters. I haven't read them all yet. As far as I know they're not available in Audio Format.
