Naughty Things at Work?

I should be writing that overdue report. But instead, I’m writing a scene where someone gets bent over the desk. (Not mine, of course. Unless…)
I should be formatting cells in a spreadsheet. But the only numbers I’m counting are gasps - and how many slow strokes it takes to unravel a soul.
I should be answering emails. But my fingers keep drifting - not over keys, but over skin imagined too vividly.
I should be in a meeting. I am. But my mind is far away - pressed against a wall, lips parted, whispering things that definitely aren't in the minutes.
So yes - technically, I’m working. But the only thing getting handled right now…is the tension I’ve been building all morning.

I miss the 80s and 90s...and my younger days.
Back then, you spent so much time at work and were part of a group that went out together, dating colleagues was not encouraged, but it wasn't outlawed...and certainly wasn't uncommon.
In my first job out of college, 3 years at a consulting company, I dated my boss for almost 2 years, a young woman from the secretarial pool for 6 months, and a new hire in the accounting department for a year. And in between there may have been a few hot nights with a few other employees. And company picnics and holiday parties only served to heighten the social side of the workplace. (My now ex-wife was also employed here but our sexual relationship didn't begin until I left the company.)
When I moved to CA and got a job in a tax software company, I again dated my boss for about 2 years. And because we worked weekends at crunch time, sex in her office and the conference room was an exciting treat.
And later in the late 90s, I joined another consulting group and had several colleagues, and a few clients, who were ongoing FWBs.
When you spend so much time with people, it's only natural that connections are made. Many still standing marriages came from those times. And because there were no hard and fast rules against it, and as employees at all levels engaged in internal dating and sexual dalliances, I never saw it get in the way of work or give people a professional advantage over another. Maybe I'm being naive, but it all just seemed so natural back in those days...and of course, so hot when enjoying sexual play at work after hours.

Aha, yes.. and frankly, pretty damn high stakes if the furtive looks started between you and said person! You’ll know far better than me whether that’s even a remotely appealing thought (and if it isn’t, then apologies if I’ve put unpleasant images in your mind!).

It does seem like you’re missing out though - a well-bodied office is always a fun place for gentle professional flirting and intrigue - whether it’s simply admiring from afar, or being attracted to someone’s presence or intellect… and heaven forbid the dangers of a Christmas party/big work night out

I see, well I’m very glad to hear it. And yes - stern, commanding, with an in-built power dynamic (and one that genuinely impacts on your real life…). It’s certainly very fertile ground for an imagination to run wild. Assuming it only ever ended there, of course

And hmm… obviously it’s only ever your call, and who am I to understand the dynamic between you two - although my goodness it sounds more fun with each message, haha.

I’m assuming this is being asked partly in jest. Even then the temptation is obviously to say ‘of course, right now’…. truthfully though, might there be some enjoyment to be had from playing out some of the ways it ‘might’ go, in the safety/ripe adventure palace of your own mind, before choosing to find out the answer*?

And out of curiosity, without asking her, what do you ’think’ her answer would be? If that isn’t a slightly odd and invasive question that a leftfield therapist might ask..

*- It’s worth flagging that, in general, I don’t normally endorse living life primarily in your mind rather than in the real world
