Hello John Roberts..hope you don't mind me posting some pics that I like.

I would really love to be relaxing at this beach right now, it is storming here in Texas at the moment.

To travel down to my neck o' the woods for a nice lunch, let me know and I'll meet you. There's several places on the water; both the ocean and the intracoastal.

Hello done_got_old, I hope you are having a wonderful day as well as everyone else.
I know what you mean. I am agonizing over what digital camera to buy now that I am working again, I need a new computer but all those missed opportunities.........I should flip a coin, want to call it for me?

I can't complain about today. I still have chores to do because I've spent my time on other things.

I have a sony mavica, so I really don't need a new camera. I'm just hoping it wears out soon.

Black Swallowtail catepillars

Finding myself enslaved to finding food for my catepillars, must buy more dill, more fennel.....I buy more plants and ...Eek! more butterfly eggs on them....more mouths to feed. Watch one of my cates turn into a chrysalis the other day........they were crawling all over looking for places to make their change to butterflies. Found myself standing in the butterfly garden as 6 different species swirled around me....5 gulf fritillarys, a Cloudless sulphur, 3 Monarchs, Zebra Longwings, Dainty Sulphur, Giant Swallowtail......How marvelous to see a dream realized......

Ach! Most of them have turned to chrysalis and I thought I had a reprieve.........A female Black Swallowtail Butterfly was loading up what was left of my dill with eggs....last count 36 eggs on the plants....and she keeps coming back......yikes! <note to self: buy lots of dill, parsley and fennel plants>:)

Yikes....they are hatching.....I have nine hungry catepillars to feed and all the stores are out of dill and fennel. It seems that my sitiation is not all that uncommon....
