Names on Avs

Hiya All............

Can any one here tell me which programme i would need to acquire to be able to put names / letters on avs.

I have Irfanview but didn't see anywhere that it can do this.

Any help or information is greatly appreciated.

Go to this area of this forum, theres a ton of subjects there on how to do lots of stuff to different images and the like. I don't think you have to join, but if you do, it's free of course. My PC Clinic.com

I have Irfanview but didn't see anywhere that it can do this.

In IrFanviw, it's on the Edit Menu as "Insert Text In Sellection (Ctrl-T)

First, select the area you want the text in by dragginthe cursor to define the size rectangle youwant selected.

The go to Edit/Insert text in Selection. Select the font and color you want, before typing the text to insert.

Then choose File/ Save As to save a COPY of the original picture to resize into an avatar.

Make sure you save before using the "starry" brush= occaisonaly spazzes with it but hey, tis free can't bitch.

I use "Photoimpression 4" then infraview to size it. but you could use almost any program that allows you to edit the picture.
