I'm going to assume you mean globally.

1. Barack Obama. Love him or hate him, the man is a powerhouse and is going to change the face of the USA, and with it, a lot international relationships.
2. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon - incredibly understated, often overlooked, and he will definitely impact the coming year.
3. Connie Hedegaard - She's behind Denmark's environment success, and if appointed European Commissioner for the Climate, she will be talked about.
4. Muammar al-Gaddafi - the ultimate weirdo, he's someone who creeps up every so often. In any case, he'll be fun to watch.
5. Queen Elizabeth II - I debated between her and Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, but the Queen has more of an impact globally speaking, although the latter will probably play a larger role.

Name 5 resolutions that you will (or would consider making, if you don't make resolutions) for 2010.
