Oh, I love mantes! They occasionally graced our garden. Beautiful and fascinating.

They lay eggs in the stalks of some decorative grass that grows in one of my flower beds. In the spring time, I look for the egg sacks as I cut the dead grass down and safely tuck them away into my vegetable garden.
