Vanity threads seem to be popular these days, lots of Litsters have them, so I want one too.

I'm not going to make up some dumb pretext for this thread, like how you would restructure the world if you were king or instructions for writing a really hot story and getting it published in Playboy or what you did on your summer vacation or what you would like to do on a summer vacation or a winter vacation or any vacation.

No, I'm just gonna be upfront and tell you that all I want is attention and I'll even beg for it.

Please reply to my thread if only with a couple of emoticons--anything to give me lots of replies and views.

Why else would we write unless we believed we had something worthwhile to say? If we don't believe in ourselves, why should anyone else?

Vanity is good for a writer unless it is missing a sense of balance.
