I am now on day three of some virus thing, and I am not happy! I would actually rather have my usual bronchitis, at least then I could take something for it.

Coughing, sneezing, sore throat, fever, and MISERABLE. I would very much like to sue NyQuil for false advertising, so you can rest, my Aunt Fannie! I'm tired of chicken soup and orange juice, they are not helping (here's a scary thought, maybe they are, maybe they are the only things keeping me alive). And I swear if one more person hands me a zinc lozenge, there will be bloodshed.

Sorry, but I'm tired, achy, cranky, and really melodramatic right now. I think I will crawl back into bed and suffer in silence.

Me too Kitten Eyes. I don't "do" sickness well. I am not one of those male whiners though. I get grumpy. My body is not working properly, that lets me down and pisses me off. Thus the grumpy version of Expertise.

No problem with zinc lozenges but if one more amatuer witch doctor espouses the virtues of echinacea ... I will butcher them on the spot.

Try something with Chyeanne Pepper in it.That will help with the stuffy nose.And personnaly,I think it helps fight the cold.

Get some Dr. Pepper, put it in a pan, add some Rum, alittle honey, and a dab of sugar, heat this up , and sip on it,..this will make your sore throat, feel lots better...k

Just avoid the orange juice. Doesn't go with the other inputs and medicine. Of course nothing better than a loving sensual massage during convalescence.Won't it be nice if I could get 24 hrs with you to show how a cough is silenced,a cold is reversed and a fever is modified and passed on to the masseur !

When I first saw your post....

I thought you may have coughed up a furball. Then I saw you were ill. The best way to cure a kvetcsh is to administer massive doses of CHICKEN SOUP. That's the cure.

No home remedies.... just hugs and massages.

I stopped in at a friends house, in Tennessee just to find out you are sick!!! Oh My! Well no recomandations but lots of fluids and rest.

I will volunteer however to keep cool cloths on your brow and rub those aching muscles.
