bored, lonely, can't sleep.... I really haven't tried that hard, tho. also putting a concert on vhs for a friend, so I have to wait until that's over at least.

depends when i have to work - i have a weird schedule... but usually midnight'ish. unfortunately - i have to work early tomorrow morning soooo maybe if i just close my eyes?? sighs.

actually, this is very late for me, whether I'm working the next day or not. lol. I'm usually asleep by 11:30 if I have to work the next morning, or midnight to 1-ish if I don't.

and yes.... not that I really want you to go to bed, but closing your eyes might help.

i manage a clothing store. but i have to admit i don't especially like shopping... and i frequently have i hate people days... a good attitude for a customer service oriented industry...

I can relate to the attitude, tho. I'm not really into food service and not all that comfortable around the elderly.... so you can see I found myself the perfect job. lol.

sounds like a nice dream, tho. heck.... owning an island where you and your girlfriends can ride horses and write stories and eat snocones sounds like a dream to me, too.

as for the movie.... have you seen the holiday? I guess it's a little late for a movie set at christmas time, but it just recently came out on dvd. watched it last night and I really liked it. sometimes I avoid romantic comedies... kinda depressing. since jack black was in this one, tho, I thought I'd give it a try.

lots of cute and funny going on, and also some stuff I could relate to as far as having feelings for someone that aren't returned the way you want them to be.... but mostly cute and funny. as an added bonus, eli wallach's role as a screenwriter from back in hollywood's olden days was a really neat little side trip to the 2 main stories.

i hardly ever see movies & i swear the last one i saw was the holiday!!! i love jack black. my only gripe is that why did we have to see so much of the stereotypical "hot" couple (cameron & jude) kinda nekkid & never kate & jack? they never even really smooched....

I love oatmeal cookies, so I was very pleasantly surprised when I discovered a mixed drink by that name.

oatmeal cookies? on my 30th birthday i got really really icky drunk on a shot called a slippery nipple. peach schnapps & what else? i can't even remember that. but that was a long time ago...

i just like a martini to kinda sip on the whole night... kinda keeps me warm & tingly.

we don't drink much when we go out now... just too much stuff to worry about on that end...
