as for moving on, I think this is gonna be my last post for awhile, if I can stay away.

aside from this thread, which I have really enjoyed, it's been a little disheartening to think I've made "connections" with different ladies only to find out I'm wrong. it reminds me a little bit of the kind of stuff that gets written in high school yearbooks.... you know, "you're such a good friend... don't ever change", "you're a great guy", "I'll never forget you"... that kind of stuff.... and then 2 weeks later (or less) it's like I never existed because there are so many guys here flirting and trying to catch their eye and I'm back to being invisible again. maybe it's because some of the guys are fresh meat and I'm old news, I dunno... all I know is I'm back on the outside looking in, unless I go begging for their attention again.

p.s. I lied, this won't be my last post... I'll probably post part of this in my thread, too, because, hey.... that's the kind of drama queen/attention whore that I am. and yes, I know that might be part of the reason I'm so forgettable, but.... *shrugs*

hey AP. all is... not well, but not too unwell, if you know what I mean. (and if you do, you're smarter than me. ) hope things are better than that for you.

song of the week is a toughie... been a long time since I really listened to anything on a regular basis, but I've been trying to hook back into dada in preparation for my trip. if I had to pick a song of the week, tho, for now it would be something by pat travers... either snortin' whiskey or the live version of hooked on music. kinda funky hard rock is how I would describe it, but sometimes I have strange notions of what's "funky". very cool guitar playing, tho. check it out.
