purrbaby, butterscotch, cyikac, VN, MG, AP.... I'll be thinking of you and hope you have a lovely holiday. especially you, PB.... hope things go well and that you don't get too stressed putting on the "perfect" christmas, and you, butterscotch. I've always thought about you way more than I should have, I guess, because of the times you were so nice to me.

I can be reached if anyone so desires.... beyond that - take care, merry christmas and see ya round.
Oh Moon... this made me cry... I have missed you... ::hugs:: I do miss you...

Tell Me When
Human League

Happenstance an episode unplanned,
Alone in time
Coincidence, the second chance
Re-sounding like a rhyme
How paths may cross against the odds
To wreck the plans you made
Among the crowd a face that smiles
To melt your masquerade
If only I could see you
Says the stranger deep inside
And lets you know that when you were
So sure you really lied
If only I could see you
Says the voice within your brain
And quietly, insistently
It says it once again
And then, I really need to know

It wouldnt seem so lonely
If only I could see you
Baby, you can be free
If only I could see you
Youll never have to doubt me
If only I could see you

Moonie...

these lyrics say it best.

we'll all be here when you're ready to come back.

i won't harp on about how we'll all miss you ... i know, once you've had time to step back... you'll feel it :)

thinking of you, moonie... be happy.

Hard Christmas??? Look Moonie..2004 was the hardest but I can't say worst christmas for me cause that Dec.'04 my dad passed away and ever since then my christmas never been the same but still I look on the good sides, that everything happens for a reason..that gives me strength and makes me feel better...not gonna preach you..don't have the right to do that..what Im posting here is a fact and true..not just because of feeling pity/sympathy of you..whatever..none of that reasons.

Plus, why would I post just to make you feel better? Honestly, something you have to be thankful that you still alive and kicking, that's a good thing whether you like it or not..now lastly...Happiness starts right from you..its with yourself Mister.

my question about "hard christmas work" was for purrbaby... last I heard from her she was working hard tryin' to get ready for the holiday.

and, I hate to break this to you, but telling me that I "have to be thankful that you still alive and kicking, that's a good thing whether you like it or not," sounds a lot like preaching to me. ;)

but, thanks.....

hope you had a good christmas and new year's.

I'm taking a trip....

in early april i'm hoping to take a short trip.... 3 days, milwaukee, chicago and minneapolis. one day in each.... so, with obviously a limited amount of time in each, I'm looking for suggestions from locals - what is the one thing I should see or do in each city?

I've spent the day in both Chicago and Minneapolis, both times I wasn't a tourist so lol And Milwaukee, I got nothin' lol Couldn't you be going to Atlanta? I know Atlanta lol Or NY, I know plenty good places in NY, and Des Moines, and Kansas City and Grand Rapids lol Hell any other cities but these lol

I DO know, stay away from downtown Minneapolis at night. Seriously. I had the very bad luck at 17 to be there and watch a guy sell crack. Right before being propositioned by a guy in a 80's Cadillac, and then having female prostitute give me her price range. At least I think it was female... It could have gone either way lol (And don't ask what her... er... his... um... "its" price range was, I got the fuck out of there lol)

And Chicago, eat, food. Lots. ;) lol Seriously amazing places to eat there. There's this pizza place a friend of mine from Chicago likes, can't remember the name, I'll have to look it up for you. Oh and St Paul, awesome Mexican food, just make sure you make it to the right part of town. You know, when no one can speak English, you're there, it's good food lol

You'll have more fun in Chicago though. :D Trust me. Public transit is a lot better there too, if you don't want to drive.

how and why do you know atlanta so well?

thanks for the tips.... someone on another thread suggested checking out navy pier, so I looked at the website. the tour boats won't be running until may, but still.... unless some better idea comes up I may just spend the day hanging out by the lake. there's something about seeing such a huge body of water that kinda fascinates me.

*eavesdrops on purrygal and moonie's convo ...and immediately heads off to expedia to book her tickets to minneapolis...mumbling to herself, "no goddamn flights arriving after 10pm!"*

:D :D :D

i had the same experience in barcelona.
we should compare rates, purr lol

the little vacation sounds great,, you're just treating yourself to a break moonie??

well.... you may have seen me mention a band called dada once or a thousand times.

I have hope that there will be a full scale tour later in the year and they'll play somewhere near my town... unfortunately, there's no guarantee of any of those things.... but there are gigs in milwaukee and chicago in april. milwaukee and chicago happen to be within driving distance..... and I have 3 months to try to save up some money...... so, at this point my plan is to rent a car and go to both gigs.

actually, at this point I'm planning to hit the one in minneapolis the next night, too. it just depends on how the finances shake out. I haven't had many chances to travel, so even tho some things already haven't worked out the way I wanted them to, I'm trying to stay excited about the idea of just getting away for awhile and seeing/hearing a great band tear it up on stage.

Hey You

I know I"ve been gone along time. But i updated over on my thread.. thought it was time. Just wanted you to know I have thought about you and hope your doing well.
