ok, PB and muskokan.... I command that you both go out this weekend and rent regarding henry. in fact, screw the weekend. go! now!! I don't care if it's the middle of the night.

I'm just kidding, of course. it's not like it's a great movie or something... there's just something about it that strikes a chord with me, I guess. if either of you ever does watch it, tho, I'd like to know what you thought about it.

I'll ask hubby if he's ever seen it and if he hasn't he'd probably be more than willing to go and try and find it at one of the rental places around here.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that you haven't seen it. it's kind of an old movie (came out in '91) and I occasionally forget what a geezer I am.

what kind of movies do you like to watch? maybe I could recommend some other "oldies but goodies" to you. lol

just about anything stephen king, even though scary movies scare the crap outta me, I've wanted to see "storm of the century" on video for the longest time but the video store that used to carry those kinds of things doesn't have it any more

and I watch a whole range of other movies, basically whatever my movie buff hubby wants to watch. i like the thriller type movies and CG movies.

I've been so disapponted by most of the movies based on stephen king stories.... I think it and carrie are still probably the best ones. most people like the shining, I think, but to me it was only ok... I think I liked the old salem's lot miniseries, too, with david soul. I can't even remember if I ever watched storm of the century.

I dunno what CG means... computer graphics? like shrek? not really my cup o' joe. I like a lot of movies that most normal people probably think of as stupid, like eurotrip, or that many people probably haven't seen, like the new guy.

for what it's worth, I think nascar is one of the biggest wastes of time ever invented but talladega nights is fucking hilarious. I love will ferrell in goofball mode.

mh, i have a little time to cum and say "HI"
& leave hugs & es ~but no time to read except Home makers Magazine ;)

I loved "dude wheres my car" "team america" (??? that is what it's called right?) and "40 year old virgin" all of which everyone else I knew thought were dumb

there's just something about ashton kutcher that really chaps my ass. I liked the 70's show, but to watch him in a movie.... maybe it has something to do with being able to see him for free. I don't watch any tim allen movies, either, unless I happen to get stuck because mom is watching one.

I haven't seen team america yet. when it came out I really wanted to see it. I loved baseketball. maybe it's the fact that it's marionettes or whatever the hell they are. I'm sure the jokes are funny if I could just get past that. I sort of liked the 40 year old virgin. I kind of had to, since it was so similar to my life story.

it wasn't as good as I expected it to be, tho... I haven't watched it anymore since it made it to cable.

hey there, musky. (can I call you musky?) my day's been.... somewhat disappointing, but it's a different kind of disappointment than I'm usually dealing with.... so not too bad, I reckon. been trying to get things together to move, but running into snags galore... maybe you can semi-relate, eh? I hope your day's going better than mine.

as for my visit to the castle.... less said, the better, I guess, but I'm sorry I missed you, too. maybe next time.

moving is my enemy. I'm not sure we'll be staying here more than a couple years either but I swear I just about had a breakdown during the process of getting in here, lets just hope that if I do move again we dont' have to do as much to the new place as we did here.

the next place i'm hoping to get into is my parents current house, they've been talking about moving when my brother goes to high school since he was in about 4th grade, well their time is running out! hehe

I dunno if you've ever heard this expression or not, but tell them to get to steppin'! ;)

I was talking about dreams in another thread and it reminded me of the weird-ass dream I had this morning. I thought about writing it down so I could remember all the details.... of course I didn't, and of course now a lot of it has faded... but here's what I can recall.

I was somewhere and I had been arguing with a black lady about something. I dunno what. why is it relevant? because after our encounter I had a semi-heated exchange with katie holmes about whatever it was that I had been discussing with the other lady. maybe she (katie) just stuck her two cents into the first conversation.

anyway, I started to walk off.... katie was sitting (we were at the beach for some reason. no, she wasn't wearing a bikini. dammit.) and I accidently stepped on her hand. she was pissed and accused me of doing it on purpose.

I went on a semi-rant about how beautiful I'd always thought she was and if she thought someone that was as big a fan as I am would do something like that, she obviously had the looks but not much else going on upstairs. it was at this tail end of the conversation that mr. top gun himself showed up.

he heard me tell his wife that she didn't have much sense and followed me down the boardwalk, yelling at me, badgering me... trying to get me to fight him. he finally threw a cup of ice in my face. I think that's when I woke up.

told ya it was weird.

I'd like to know how her hand got under your foot

I think she was trying to trip me. I still love her, tho. ;)

My Dad used to call me joey because I resembled katie holmes when she was in dawsons creek.

well.... dunno about anyone else, but it certainly interested me. lol.

I can't answer about the resemblance, but you're very attractive in your own right. who needs katie holmes?

I don't actually WATCH a lot of tv, but there is generally a good 90 minutes that the tv gets me out of dealing with my kids each day.. i'll have to get an antenna or something to get the 3 basic channels we should get without cable, or cave and just get cable
