very tired and a little down. also a little stunned that there was a whole page of conversation that I didn't even see at first. yes.... some of it made me blush, but in a good way.

sorry that I always seem to be missing you... I've been working a lot and when I'm home I'm just so tired....

thanks to you and PB for dropping by... I need to go hit the couch and stretch out for a bit.... which means I'll probably be asleep in less than an hour.

what a shock.... I actually managed to avoid dozing off. I watched some baseball, then big brother and rock star: supernova. which is a good thing because maybe I'll sleep better tonight.

I've still been thinking about regarding henry. I think the sweetest moment in the movie is when henry and his wife (harrison ford and annette bening) are walking in the park. this is after he's started making his recovery.... the new henry with the kinder, gentler personality. he takes her hand and she looks stunned.

"you've never done that before. you didn't like public displays of affection."

"why?"

"I don't know why."

"I don't know why, either..... come here." he steps up on a bench right there in the middle of the park, helps her to join him up there and gives her a long, lingering kiss. I love that their obvious joy in being together, and not caring who knows or who sees them.

will I ever get to feel anything like that?

It's a great feeling to have that, and I think everyone does experience it before they die, at least once. You'll feel it. And I don't think it'll be fleeting.

i have never seen that movie either but the idea of it is very sweet. I don't think I'd be able to do that in public.

I'm just kidding, of course. it's not like it's a great movie or something... there's just something about it that strikes a chord with me, I guess. if either of you ever does watch it, tho, I'd like to know what you thought about it.
