My son likes Weird Al Yankovich

Do you guys get down to Polka Power?

I love that shit, cept it sticks in my brain!

HEY ! I love Yankovich

:p

I love Weird Al, I think he would be fun to party with. I don't like Marilyn Manson's music at all, my son went through a phase of liking him. I do, however, like to watch him when he is on "Politically Incorrect". He is surprisingly well read & we agree in several different areas. Quite an interesting young man.

one thing i've noticed... and i am a small scale M. Manson fan.... is that his views on many things are very realistic and well thought, which is unlike what many people think of him based on some of his music. there are many preconceived ideas there about him and the people that listen to his music, and i think that maybe some people should open up their eyes to see that he is a person and not a thing that generates satanic garbage.

wierd al

isnt it weird how the crazy songs are the ones that are the easiest to remember.

i enjoy his parodies. love the videos when i see them.
also a long time fan of dr.demento.

I like Weird Al too, but...

I have this habbit of singing the original song when I hear his and singing his song when listening to the original.

I guess it's just the dyslexia in me?

Weird Al Rules!

I loved the song he did for the opening credits in Spy Hard. It was a pretty good spoof on songs for movies/tv shows that kept trying to remind you what you were watching by repeating the title in the lyrics. You know, just incase we forget what we were watching during the the first few opening minutes. ;)

~Gump sat around on a bench in a park! "My name is Forrest," he casually remarked!~

Dammit. Now I want to go watch Spy Hard but I don't have it on video. lol

I heard Bruce Willis was good in that. Made like 3 of 'em, right?

;)

*Slaps his forhead and slowly backs out of thread* Yeah..... Bruce Willis.

:p

I still like Eat it alot better than Beat it, I havn't heard a new Weird al song in a while but I like him.

Long-time Al fan! Gump... Amish Paradise... Polka...

I've heard he puts on a killer show as well!

There's something to be said for a salute to boobs. After all, who doesn't love 'em? The fact that the word used is boobs should calm your parenting worries, can't get more innocent than boobs. Did I use the word boobs enough times? hehe it cracks me up but you know, I'm used to tits ;)

LOL tiggs...i thought i was the only one that did that.

problem is, i dont remember all the words to the original songs, but i know al's.

He puts on a great show! Saw him last year in the Pacific Northwest---he had laryngitis but you could never tell. He had a hard time hitting the high notes on an Alanis Morrisette song, but I think everyone kinda thought "what guy wouldn't" so no one knew until a friend that got to go back stage told us. She also said that he's kind of shy but very nice.
I think he looks pretty spiffy now days too.
