My Sexuality is Very Confusing

I've always considered myself bisexual because I like both men and women. When someone asks me about it though, my answers get confusing. See, I'm not very picky about my female partners. It's the polar opposite with my male partners. It's like they're held to this ridiculously high standard. I don't mean to do this, I just find myself attracted to a lot more women than men. Do any other bisexual men or women struggle with this?

It's only confusing for you - I'd call it normal and it's just your make up. Don't judge yourself by what others claim to be or do but go with what is right for you at the time. I'm more attracted to girls, because I tend to get on better with them out of the bed than men. Then they're be some random guy that sets all my bells ringing and the hunger for them is totally overwhelming: weak at the knees, tongued-tied quivering wreck. Just go with it :rose:

What she said.

I'm very similar to you. Bi, but much pickier about men than women. Not to say that I'm "easy" when it comes to women, but while only a select type of male interests me, I find a wider variety of women appealing.

One other thought on that--I used to also think I was confusing in my sexuality, until I showed up here and discovered a lot of women very similar to me. :)

Lots of bisexual folk are like that. Some of them are like that about their same sex partners, some about their opposite sex partners.

"bisexual" doesn't really mean "Slut," and you always get to make your own rules:rose:

I have noticed that with women I am less picky than I am with men. Most (say 90%) of men do not even remotely appeal to me but with women I can find so many attractive qualities.

Glad to see it's not just me! The only thing I've ever found to help me make sense of my own sexuality is the Kinsey scale but nobody ever knows what it is and I get lots of blank looks when I try to explain it.

Well pull yourself up a seat and make yourself right at home :rose:

I don't even think this is confusing at all. We all like what we like! I'm a fairly straight guy, and have my preferences in women; but even so, a look or other stimulus from someone outside my normal parameters may trip my trigger! Sexy can present itself in many ways.

As far as attraction to males? Only if they exude femininity. Maybe I should call it "femmesexual". ;)

Oop - now there's a sits-up-in-seat statement :)
"As far as attraction to males? Only if they exude femininity."
Care to explain? One woman's femininity is another woman's butch - same goes for men I guess ;)
^^^ it's ok - that's only a half-serious question :)
Personally it's the hunks that do me ( or would )
