Especially when they've forgotten to charge their device and it shuts off. Talk about a moment killer.

It's tough narrowing down a list of favorite books, but if I *had* to compile a list, it'd probably include The Silmarillion, The Call of the Wild, The Good Earth, Where the Red Fern Grows, Oliver Twist.

Call of the Wild and Oliver Twist are great! I think the Great Gatsby would make my list of favorites (no I didn't see the movie). Alexander Pope's translation of the Iliad is another I love

I drink it black or with creamer / half-and-half.

Iced coffee..... it destroys so much of the phytochemicals when you do that. Cold brew coffee all the way.

I sometimes brew up some coffee and then stick it in the fridge overnight and then throw it into the blender the next morning and add a whole bunch of weird shit... like strawberries.

That's good, Cold brew is where you steep the coffee for 12-24hrs in the fridge.

His A Tale of Two Cities is a particular favorite of mine.

I also love The Heart is a Lonely Hunter by Carson McCuller.
