For us Americans the term in the box when it comes to football Is a coach term for how many defensive players are lined up in a certain area..it goes from the offensive line to about 5 yards deep...when you hear there is 6 in the box it means 4 downlinemen and 2 linebackers within 4 yards of the line od scrimmage.....

Outside if America world football also has a box which is the penalty area in which only the goalie may use his hands....


But the box we all want is the tiny, sweet little box between your legs hehehehe
