My half brother, known here as seasparks died in late July.
We had talked about what he called his best story yet, and he was planning to submit it here when he finally got it scanned and edited.

Before he could do that, a drunk driver ended seasparks life.

seasparks was very proud to be a Literotica author. He considered it to be one of the crowning achievements of his life that other people found hs stories interesting enough to read and enjoy.

I was sorting through his belongings recently and found his manuscript for the story.
I contacted Laurel and she gave her permission for me to submit his final work as a tribute to his memory.

The first chapter is up now. (see the link in my sig line)
He would be happy that someone would be reading his stories long after he was gone.

The rest of the story will be submitted as I get the spare time needed to scan and edit over 100 pages of text. (a little at a time)

Read it or not as you choose.

Thank you.

I had wondered why I hadn't seen him posting....I'm very sorry to hear that he's gone.

Thanks for letting us know.

I'm very sorry to hear of your brothers passing. My eldest brother was also taken from me by a drunk driver 9 years ago. I am extremely sorry you had to lose a brother in that way.

Such very sad news. I also had wondered why he hadn't posted here for a while.

Millenium Bard, what a wonderful tribute.

Your brother was a tremendous person. I didn't know him as well as I would have liked, but he was wonderful to all and very kind to me in particular. I'm so glad you're giving his work the time and attention it deserves so that it may be shared. I'm looking forward to reading it.

:rose:

Sincerely,
E

How many people do we know? How many more people do we know who have written something we've read? Or here, have read what we've written.

and he shall be known by his works.

It may be a strange thing to offer condolences to a person one hardly knew regarding another person one was equally unacquainted with, however, an acquaintance by reading is as much an acquaintance as through anything else. I know that last sentence may be cumbersome, but allow me to add my sincere condolences as well.

I didn't know seasparks, but I do remeber reading both stories and poems by him, and enjoying them very much.

May others too in the days to come.

My condolences...

Seeing he wrote that story for me, I'm at a loss for words.

I'm sorry I wasn't told sooner, but...

He was a fantastic person who made me feel loved and wanted for the first time in my life.

To you Leonard.
